Your transactions, budgets, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded except as described below.
When you tap "Analyze" on the AI tab, a summary of that month (amounts by category, totals, recurring items) is sent to Finely's processing server and then to Anthropic (Claude) to generate the analysis. A random device identifier is included only to limit usage. This data is used solely to produce your analysis, is not stored long-term, is not linked to your identity, and is never sold. Finely requires no sign-up or login, contains no ads or third-party analytics, and does not track you across apps or websites.
You can export your data as CSV or erase everything at any time from Settings → Data.
